The Wild Earth Coastal High events will this year have on-course hydration provided by our partner; FIXX Nutrition. FIXX Fuel X will be available at all aid stations (not the waterpoints), including the start and finish line.

There will be FIXX Fuel X solution available at all the aid stations as well as a limited supply of FIXX gels. This will be their Lemon Sorbet gels. For further information; please refer to the FIXX website. You can also shop online or purchase FIXX products in store at Wild Earth.

There are three main aid stations at checkpoints:

  1. Binna Burra Trail Head at 24.3km - not used for the CRUNCH. Hosted by Gold Coast Trail Chix

  2. Raw Challenge at 14km/36km - hosted by Mountain Goat Trail Runners.

  3. Apple Tree Park 21km/43km - hosted by Run The World!

all of which will have plain water and FIXX Fuel X electrolyte fluid, coke and an assortment of treats that will help you conquer the challenge you have set - yourself.

In addition to those stations; there will be additional water only stations at:

  1. The Binna Burra Information Centre (5km/27km) - right back where you started your day!

  2. Nerang/Murwillumbah Road (11km/33km) - adjacent to the Correctional Centre. This station is hosted by CrampFix; a local Gold Coast based business. CrampFix will also have limited product available on course at the last two aid stations.

  3. Woonoongoora Camp; located at the base of Apple Tree Stairs, just over 19km/41km in. A big thanks to Good Times Running Club for manning this section!

The Wild Earth Coastal High events are both CUP FREE events and the capacity to carry a minimum of 2L for CH50 or 1L for CRUNCH are part of the Mandatory Gear list. Please prepare appropriately.

Lastly; race day is NOT the day to ‘try’ something! We strongly recommend that you trial anything you wish to use on event day in your training - there's nothing worse than an upset stomach in an ultra run.
